Our major aims are:
• to facilitate/ to drive forward school development
• to contribute to the quality assurance in schools
• to bring school quality to public attention
The analysis of quality in all state schools (including the vocational schools) is based upon a specific reference framework concerning the definition of the term 'good school' including e.g. 'good teaching and learning' ('Orientierungsrahmen Schulqualität', Hamburg, 2005).
